As many of you know at John Beresch, we take holidays such as the one we are about to celebrate seriously. This weekend many of us will gather together to laugh and have fun and celebrate this holiday. But it’s bigger then just celebrating this holiday. It’s celebrating those that have fought and ultimately paid the ultimate cost for your freedom and my freedom. For that we can and should never forget those that have fallen! While many have extended this into a weekend, Memorial Day should be observed on Monday May 27th. To quote President Ronald Reagan:
“Today is the day we put aside to remember fallen heroes and to pray that no heroes will ever have to die for us again. It’s a day of thanks for the valor of others, a day to remember the splendor of America and those of her children who rest in this cemetery and others. It’s a day to be with the family and remember.”
May you have a great Memorial Day!
