Remember as winter peeks it’s face around the corner, now is an important time to ensure your roof is prepared.
Making a visual inspection of your roof inside and out, is a smart thing to do. You will want to make sure your roof is clear of any sticks / debris laying on top of it. Looking for any cracks, or curled shingles as well as any dips or waves. This step can be easily done with a pair of binoculars should you not be able to see that close or have the means to climb up on your roof yourself. If you are able to get up on your roof remember, safety first and always. Be sure to have someone with you even if they are outside at ground level just to ensure your safety.
When you do get up on the roof remember to check gutters, flashing, skylights, chimneys, vent stack(s). When back on solid ground don’t forget a visual inspection inside too, be sure to look in your attic at your rafters to ensure they are intact and no splits or breaks. And lastly remember to look for any water spots. We hope you found this helpful.
